Installing In-Game[]
Use the in-game mod installer to install the Sea Block Pack - Official mod, also called the SeaBlockMetaPack. This mod will automatically cause all the other usual mods to be installed.
You can inactivate the pack and any of the mods you like, if you want to, but then you won't have a standard SeaBlock game. You're still welcome on the Discord channel, but be prepared for a bit of confusion. Your pictures and recipes will be different.
Installing by Download[]
Very few people use this option, now that the In-Game Installer has been improved.
Installation by download is performed by downloading the newest version of the Seablock modpack from Trainwreck's post on the Factorio forums here. This is best also played along side the Seablock pack which is found here.
Trainwreck has posted instructions on those pages of where and how to install the files.
Once downloaded, you may need to enable the modpack from the Factorio mod manager before creating a new game.
- shortcut target : "C:\Users\Me\Desktop\game _sb2\Factorio game\bin\x64\factorio.exe"
- [4:25 PM] start in : "C:\Users\Me\Desktop\game _sb2\Factorio game\bin\x64
Note for Headless Servers[]
From the SeaBlock FAQ Issue: Getting the following error when setting up a game on a headless server
0.000 Error Util.cpp:83: "coal" is not a valid autoplace control name.
Solution: In map-gen-settings.json clear the autoplace_controls section
<"autoplace_controls": { "enemy-base": {"frequency": "normal", "size": "normal", "richness": "normal"} },
